About us

beeready

Beeready began after the Luxembourg government published its household preparedness booklet as part of Lëtz prepare. We welcomed the initiative, but saw room to cover more situations, clear up inconsistencies and make the advice easier to find and use.

We built Beeready around practical instructions, supply checklists and a household plan. Publishing online lets us correct errors and revise pages when official advice changes.

Beeready provides information only. Always consult the government's official publications for current guidance and follow the authorities' instructions during an emergency.

Our sources

Our source list brings together 273 distinct links to official guidance, scientific studies and background reading. Of these, 168 cover food storage, calorie needs and nutrition.

We start with Luxembourg's official publications and compare them with advice from civil protection agencies in other countries. The collection also includes work from the World Health Organization, the European Food Safety Authority and the German Nutrition Society (DGE).
